About Proietti Softball Camps
Welcome to Proietti Softball Camps, led by Lesley University Head Softball, Lou Proietti. Our camps deliver high-quality instruction in a positive, competitive environment designed for players who want to improve their skills and experience college-level training.
Coach Proietti brings a deep background in both softball and baseball.
He currently serves as Head Softball Coach at Lesley University and previously worked as Director of Operations for the Softball program at Oakland University .
In addition, he has more than a decade of experience as a private hitting coach working with players of all ages. Before transitioning fully into softball, Coach Proietti built a strong collegiate baseball coaching career.
He served as Head Baseball Coach at Saint Peter’s University, Associate Head Coach at Stonehill College , and Assistant Coach at Rider University , where he helped the program set a single-season wins record and win conference championships.
As a player, he competed at the collegiate level, including time at UMass Amherst.

Our Facilities
The University of Maryland completed a $3.0 million softball complex in Spring 2002. The facility is the latest improvement to a Maryland athletics program that already ranks among the top 10 institutions in the nation for female athletes, according to the 2001 fall issue of Sports Illustrated For Women. Located adjacent to Maryland’s state-of-the-art Xfinity Center on the north side of campus, student-athletes will have access to locker room and weight-training facilities, an indoor practice gymnasium, athletic department offices and the academic support and career development unit.
